We took a bus to Santiago over the spectacular road that leads into the Andes and tops out at nearly 12,000 feet with views of Aconcagua along the way. We rode in the double-decker bus pictured above. We even sat up front and had a panoramic view the whole way. It was perfect except for the part about the bus breaking down.
