It's been awhile since I've posted any photos of fruterias. Both of these are in La Imprenta, this tony section of Belgrano next to Las Cañitas. I remember my friend Stephen commenting on the lack of exotic fruits and it's true. There's nothing an American wouldn't find unfamiliar at these stores. What I like about these places are their simplicity and their small scale. Their quality too.

I love markets, especially in foreign towns. The food stalls are usually so carefully and tastefully laid out and a reflection of the local agriculture and cuisine - as this frutería is
