Beisbol, el deporte más lindo del mundo!
Just off the freeway leading to the airport at Ezeiza is Argentina's baseball complex. Baseball is way, way, way down on the list of sports played in Argentina [the most popular after soccer being basketball, tennis, rugby and field hockey]. I'm surprised there's even a complex. A small-ish, concrete stadium surrounds a full size diamond. There's a league that plays here on the weekends. The players are mostly from the US, Caribbean and Japan.

The complex is right next door to where Argentina's national soccer team trains, seen here thru the fence the separates the two.

Yo siempre me preguntaba qué pinta tendría ese estadio. Descubrí que existía yendo hacia Ezeiza.
En Argentina, la mayoría de la gente no sabe cómo se juegue al béisbol...
Soy parte de esa mayoría.
si, fue un grupo de gringos contra unos japoneses. los japoneses los mataron ;)
