Thanks for visiting this blog. I'm an American living in Buenos Aires since Feb. 2008 but I also lived here in 1993, 1999 and 2000. If you think I've misrepresented something, please leave a comment [
hablo castellano]. I don't update this site much anymore but please visit
my personal site. I still take pictures like crazy.
If you would like to use an image or get a full resolution version please email me at thobbs at gmail dot com.
Thanks!

A nice view of Buenos Aeres.
Among this pictures, i think that the graffiti is interesting. It seems to tell a lot about Argentina's history.
have you seen a detail about San Martín's Mausoleum?
It is not really under the ceiling of the church. I got the version that this is because San Martín was a free-mason.
When I was in primary school (a long time ago, during the dictatorship, in fact), I have been tought that the building of the Cathedral is not very old, as the original ones fell down due to unsuitable foundations. Maybe some of your architect friends can tell you the actual information.
Unlike Mexico or Lima (the original vive-royalty capital city), Buenos Aires was not a big city until the second half XIXth century. That's why the more historical churches in Argentina are in Córdoba or Salta, for instance.
